Paul Bunyan Lived Here
Pete Dick an early resident on Silver Lake and a logging contractor in northern Minnesota was an image model for Paul Bunyan as used in a marketing campaign for the Red River Lumber Company. This campaign was a major influence of popularizing Paul Bunyan.
